A rather unique winter day of railfanning. The weather started out extremely foggy, but later cleared up to be very sunny.
0:00 - A train with a rare UP SD60M leading and a CN unit trailing heads through Eastgate in the mist.

2:59 - A UP freight with some more interesting power and a rare 8-axle tank car at the end heads through Dayton. Sorry for the abrupt start; this train caught Dad and I off guard.

5:24 - Down the line in China, a UP freight with a nice classic horn parks into the siding.

6:49 - After the last train, we drove back up the line to catch a stopped train we saw earlier. But while driving, a fast EB stack train flew by with UP 2001: one of the Olympic Torch units!!! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures and we abandoned the train since it was going so fast, but I fortunately saw the unit again in 2013. Anyway, we drove up to Dayton to catch the train we were aiming for.
