Dad and I took a three-day railfanning trip to Fort Worth for the sole purpose of catching an Amtrak NPCU on the Heartland Flyer! The first major stop on the trip was Temple with lots of switchers and slow train action. Part 1 taken on 8/15/2015.
0:00 - At a tank car facility somewhat near Hearne, an NS freight catches us off-guard with my first NS SD70ACe! I've wanted to catch one for a long time! (I've seen several SD70M-2's though.)

4:52 - Now in Temple with lots of stopped units sitting around. There were also some blue Smurf units, but I couldn't get good pictures of them. The first bit of action was a couple of Dash-9's backing out of the facility.

6:36 - The Amtrak Texas Eagle #22 was over two hours late, allowing us to catch it coming into Temple!

8:41 - As the Amtrak leaves, some diesels start moving around including a fairly new GEVO and a gray KCS ACe!
11:29 - As the diesels keep moving, the Dash-9 light run from earlier rolls by.
13:58 - BNSF 7995 keeps moving around. Its bell got annoying after a while.
17:09 - A very long freight train rolls through with an executive MAC trailing. It also meets a grain train and does a distant horn duel with it!
