Unlike our first day, the other two days weren't as special-train-filled, but we still got some neat finds, including CSX 7300 and a very old EMD.
0:00 - While visiting a town called Wills Point with an old train station, a UP freight moves into the siding to wait for a nearby stack train.

1:29 - While getting gas, the stack train with some nice NS power catches us off guard.

1:52 - In Grand Saline, the Amtrak, probably the Texas Eagle, flies through with a sweet horn. The car right behind the diesel was very dirty!

3:25 - After the Amtrak, a nearby UP stack with a cool lashup starts up and moves up the line. A little treat on the train was CSX 7300: the lowest numbered ex-CR CSX C40-8W!

5:43 - In Mineola, the same stack train rolls through town. I wasn't at the tracks so I just recorded the train sounds.
6:43 - At the station in town, a local run with two old geeps moves up the line to get a work train.

7:26 - Later in Big Sandy, we catch the UP stack train one last time crawling through the diamonds.
8:45 - A couple of work cars sitting by the diamonds.
8:53 - After waiting a while, a nearby UP freight starts up and crawls by. The crew was VERY horn happy and gave TONS of shaves-and-haircuts to us and another nearby railfan!!!

12:24 - A short visit to the Amtrak station in Longview, including some nice yard shots and an old UP switcher, probably under UPY.
12:44 - Dad and I eventually arrived at our main target of Marshall, but the weather was MISERABLE with it being cold and wet. After a long time of waiting, we got two trains, including this slow UP freight that stopped several times.

17:43 - Last train of the day: A UP freight with some cool engine sounds accelerates by. A nice treat on the train was an old EMD geep trailing behind the diesels!
